I found myself reflecting on manaakitanga at the weekend as I was putting together what I have learned about bullying, harassment, and creating great workplaces.  I googled manaakitanga and found all these wonderful statements on school websites about how the school was incorporating manaakitanga into its culture and vision.  It is clear the schools had listened to the students and found the words that inspired their community.  It inspired me to think about what would be a manaakitanga vision for my workplace and Natalie and I created the following which we believe will work for us.  I challenge all workplaces to do the same and we don’t care if anyone copies us!
